Part-Time House Manager with Childcare Support

About the role

We are a Toronto‑based family seeking a part‑time house manager who can also provide childcare support for our 9‑month‑old child. The role starts mid‑July, runs 25 hours per week, and combines household organization, meal preparation, and picking up the child from daycare.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up the child from daycare 3‑5 days a week, provide engaging care until parents return.
• Plan, prepare and clean up healthy dinners Monday‑Thursday and manage snacks and batch breakfasts for the child.
• Maintain household organization: daily resets, laundry, linen care, seasonal clothing swaps and décor transitions.
• Handle errands, inventory, grocery restocking and vendor coordination, including cleaners, contractors and pet‑care services.
• Care for the family dog: feeding, outdoor breaks, grooming appointments and medication administration.
• Oversee home maintenance schedules, outdoor space upkeep and occasional deep‑cleaning projects.
• Support family calendars, travel planning and expense tracking as needed.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a home environment.
• Experience caring for infants and comfortable around a friendly 30‑lb doodle.
• Reliable transportation and ability to maintain a smoke‑free environment.
• Up‑to‑date vaccinations per Canadian public‑health guidelines.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification.
