Part‑time Ground Handler – Aviation Services

About the role

Executive Aviation is looking for reliable, flexible individuals to join its Sault Ste Marie team as part‑time Ground Handlers. You will support airline operations on the ramp, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellent service for passengers and crew.

Key responsibilities

• Follow airline procedures and Transport Canada regulations.
• Drive and operate ground service equipment.
• Marshall and wing‑walk aircraft to gates.
• Sort, load, and unload guest baggage according to load plans.
• Transport baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor systems.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove it.
• Groom aircraft interiors, clean cabins, galleys, and lavatories, and restock supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Lead.

Required profile

• Availability for shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push/pull for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) repeatedly.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Compliance with safety wear requirements (steel‑toe boots, reflective vest, hearing protection).
• Possession of a valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to obtain a Transport Canada Restricted Area pass and pass a criminal background check.
