Parts Advisor

About the role

Volkswagen Moncton is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service at our parts counter. The role involves assisting customers in person, by phone and email, managing inventory, and identifying sales opportunities. Work schedule is Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm with occasional flexible start/end times and rotational Saturdays during tire season.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the parts counter.
• Answer phone calls and reply to emails from customers inquiring about parts.
• Upsell or suggest parts based on customer needs.
• Maintain inventory control and proper stock levels.
• Perform physical inventory to ensure system accuracy.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college diploma preferred.
• Previous experience in a parts role is required.
• Bilingual in English and French is preferred.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50 lb).
• Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• General understanding of automotive systems and parts.
• Alert to sales opportunities by asking questions and providing information.
