Part-Time Service Advisor

About the role

The Service Advisor is the first point of contact for customers at BCAA’s Hillside Victoria location, helping them choose insurance, memberships and roadside assistance solutions that fit their lives. This part‑time position offers a pathway to a career in insurance sales and advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, promoting BCAA insurance products, memberships, travel and auto coverage.
• Collaborate with Support Teams and Underwriting to recommend appropriate coverage.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities aligned with customers’ life events.
• Work with team members to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales targets.
• Participate in training, maintain licensing, and stay current on product offerings.

Required skills

• Level 1 Insurance license (or commitment to obtain within 45 days).
• Completion of Autoplan Essentials (or commitment to complete within three months).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• CAIB certification (preferred).
• Familiarity with ICBC systems (preferred).
