About the role
Join Extendicare’s dedicated team at the Blenheim Village Home, providing compassionate care to long‑term care residents. As a part‑time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you will deliver high‑quality nursing services while guiding personal care staff.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans.
- Provide leadership to personal care staff through planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating their work.
- Assist in orienting and training new team members.
Required profile
- Current registration with the provincial College of Nurses.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Critical thinking, care coordination, time‑management, and customer‑focus abilities.
- Current (within 3 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS).
Required skills
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
