Part-Time Property & Operations Assistant

About the role

Windsor House Co. is looking for a Part-Time Property & Operations Assistant to help operate, maintain and improve a furnished rental property in central Windsor. This role combines hands‑on property work, organization, interior design, hospitality, property management, customer service and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and rearrange furniture to improve the function, appearance and layout of furnished spaces.
• Organize storage areas, household supplies, linens and inventory.
• Perform light hands‑on property work, including minor fixes, cleaning, yard work and miscellaneous projects.
• Prepare and maintain the property for furnished‑rental guests.
• Pick up supplies and monitor household inventory.
• Meet and coordinate with contractors, tradespeople and other service providers as needed.
• Communicate professionally with guests and assist with customer‑service issues and problem‑solving.
• Assist with marketing, networking and other activities to grow the rental operation.
• Identify problems and opportunities for improvement rather than waiting for tasks.

Required profile

• Dependable, proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Organized and comfortable bringing order to cluttered spaces.
• Personable and confident when dealing with guests, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Resourceful and willing to figure things out.
• Visually minded with a good sense of interior layout, presentation and design.
• Interest in real‑estate investing, interior design, hospitality, marketing and property management.
• Motivated to grow into greater responsibility and autonomy over time.
