Building Ambassador & Resident Caretaker

About the role

Join the team at a modern mixed‑use landmark in downtown Courtenay. As the Building Ambassador & Resident Caretaker you will be the face of the property, ensuring a pristine, safe and welcoming environment for residents and commercial tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain aesthetic excellence in lobbies, stairwells, front glass, common areas and laundry facilities through regular cleaning.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including quarterly filter cleaning/replacements for residential ERV systems.
• Monitor garbage and recycling systems and keep the building perimeter free of debris.
• Lead seasonal safety tasks such as salting exterior walkways during winter.
• Act as a vital communication link between residents, the Property Manager and the Building Owner.

• Attention to detail – clean railings, tidy entrances and overall presentation matter.
• Proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail.
