Live‑In Property Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Live‑In Maintenance Technician will ensure the property remains safe, well‑maintained, and operating efficiently while delivering outstanding service to residents. This hands‑on position is based on‑site in Centertown Ottawa and includes a housing benefit.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to routine and urgent maintenance requests from residents promptly.
• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to building systems, suites, and common areas.
• Support upkeep and safe operation of property amenities, fixtures, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and repairs.
• Assist with seasonal operations such as snow removal and ensure work areas are clean and safe.

Required profile

• Working knowledge and experience in residential maintenance and light renovation tasks.
• General understanding of residential building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and heating.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid class G driver’s licence, clean abstract, and access to a personal vehicle.
