Part-Time Pharmacist – Community Hospital

About the role

The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy coverage across its acute‑care and urgent‑care sites. This role focuses on delivering safe, effective medication therapy without overnight or on‑call obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications and verify prescriptions in accordance with Ontario regulations.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication reviews and drug information support to physicians and nurses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute‑care, urgent‑care and transitional‑care settings.
• Maintain accurate medication inventory and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Utilize pharmacy computer systems for order entry, documentation, and reporting.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist licensed to practice in Ontario.
• Availability for part‑time hours within a standard work week.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hospital environment.
