Part-Time Bakery Clerk

About the role

The Bakery Clerk is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, and corporate policies.
• Provide customer service to meet customer needs and promote bakery products.
• Process customer bakery orders and handle/prepare bakery items.
• Maintain a clean and presentable work area and ensure a safe environment.
• Execute merchandising, program execution, and product promotion to increase store sales.
• Order, receive, and control inventory according to company procedures.
• Participate in training of junior staff and process department shrink.
• Perform other duties as required.
