Package Handler Trainer

About the role

The Package Handler Trainer ensures efficient and safe movement of freight within FedEx facilities while coaching new and existing handlers on best practices. This onsite position combines hands‑on freight handling with instructional responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, scan, sort and transport freight within and between facilities.
• Train other Package Handlers on loading, unloading, palletizing and scanning techniques.
• Maintain compliance with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations.
• Operate PC Windows systems for mandatory testing, training documentation and reporting.
• Adapt to varying shift schedules based on business needs.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Six months experience as a Package Handler (preferred).
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to lift 70 lb and maneuver packages up to 150 lb with equipment.
• Valid G‑class driver’s licence with a clean driving record (≤2 violations/accidents in the past 24 months).
• Bilingual (French and English) if residing in Quebec.
