Stores I – Hospital Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The Stores I position supports the CPSM O.R. team at Rockyview General Hospital, handling the flow of medical supplies, equipment, and food. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment, ensuring that internal and external orders are fulfilled quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack, ship, and receive hospital supplies according to established guidelines.
• Process incoming requisitions and distribute supplies to appropriate departments.
• Conduct cart audits for quality assurance and report inventory levels.
• Communicate with stakeholders to verify correct quantities and prevent over‑stocking.
• Track and report inventory data to support efficient supply management.

Required profile

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Physical ability to push/pull carts up to 275 kg and lift items up to 25 kg.
• Experience working in an operating‑room (O.R.) environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
• Adaptability to changing priorities in a high‑stress setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.
• Familiarity with Oracle or other ERP software (preferred).
