Outsourcing Coordinator

About the role

Manitoulin Transport, which has provided transportation and logistics solutions across North America for over 65 years, is hiring an Outsourcing Coordinator in Sudbury. The role supports the Operations group and the Maintenance Service Managers by coordinating outsourced and sublet repair work at a sublet service repair site.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate unscheduled work, scheduled issues, preventative maintenance overflow from in-house repairs, parts sourcing and outsource/sublet repairs
• Source and maintain qualified sublet repair sites and vendors, and direct all third-party maintenance repairs
• Maintain constant communication with vendors and gather updates and completion times
• Enter data into the maintenance EMM system and scrutinize and authorize quoted repairs
• Profile and upload data into the maintenance software for records, and review and approve items assigned in AP scanning
• Analyze the cost of maintenance and repairs on particular vehicles to judge feasibility
• Audit compliance with equipment-out, the 100-over-60 spreadsheet, the EMM maintenance screen and asset service requirements (B620, dedicated fleets, general fleet)
• Organize spare maintenance units when rentals are unavailable, maintain the sublet budget and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Class G/5 licence
• Written and verbal communication in French and English
