Logistics & Operations Coordinator

About the role

Mattel Canada's Operations office, reporting to an Associate Manager, Distribution, is looking for a Logistics & Operations Coordinator in Mississauga. The coordinator supports customer shipments and helps ensure on-time deliveries. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare outbound shipping documentation and process customer orders.
• Schedule appointments and arrange transportation for prepaid customers.
• Coordinate purchasing of day-to-day material handling suppliers.
• Ensure on-time deliveries to customers.
• Monitor operating supplies so they stay in full supply.
• Keep transportation costs competitive and audit invoices before payment.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in distribution, transportation or logistics (preferred).
• 2+ years coordinating truckload, LTL and courier transportation providers (preferred).
• Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Oracle experience is an asset.
• Customs and international shipping experience is an asset.

The pay range is CAD 55,300 to 69,200 per year, depending on location, skills and experience. Mattel states it is open to candidates who do not meet every requirement and offers a flexible work model.
