Truck Technician (Weekend Nights, $50.09/hr + $5,000 Signing Bonus)

About the role

Manitoulin Transport is looking for a Truck & Coach Technician in Mississauga. Technicians are critical to the business, and the right person with a positive attitude and strong technical expertise will help keep the carrier among Canada's most successful LTL carriers. The position is paid bi-weekly on weekends, Friday to Sunday, 5:30 pm to 6:00 am.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance as assigned
• Code and complete work orders and related paperwork
• Deliver and pick up trucks from third-party maintenance providers
• Work safely in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other regulations, and follow company policies and procedures

Required profile

• 310 Truck & Coach licence, or third-year apprentice registered with the Trades & Apprenticeship Board
• Valid driver's licence
