Opérateur Optimisation de Production

About the role

We are looking for a Production Optimization Operator to join Galderma’s manufacturing site in Baie‑d’Urfé, Quebec. The role combines hands‑on production work with continuous‑improvement activities, supporting the company’s dermatology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Perform production operator duties for approximately 60% of the time.
• Participate in the implementation and optimisation of standardised work across weighing, manufacturing, packaging and related processes.
• Follow deployment plans for standardised work and maintain them within the production department.
• Generate ideas and take part in projects aimed at improving standardised work.
• Contribute to change‑over time reduction programmes, including SMED projects.
• Coordinate 5S activities on the shop floor.
• Support DMS performance monitoring and attend cross‑functional performance improvement meetings.
• Track and follow‑up on action items resulting from improvement initiatives.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Excellence pillars.
• Engage in problem‑solving processes, Kaizen projects and special initiatives to boost operational performance.
• Assist in the rollout of new tools and contribute to asset‑intensity improvement efforts.
