About the role

The Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU) Operator is responsible for safely preparing, loading, transporting, and delivering bulk and packaged explosive products to customers using 10‑ or 12‑wheel trucks. The role requires strict adherence to safety and maintenance programs established by the site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the delivery vehicle for bulk explosive products.
• Perform product mixes in accordance with specifications to ensure quality.
• Deliver bulk and packaged explosives to support open‑pit blasting operations.
• Conduct periodic equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Load, unload, and verify shipments, ensuring compliance with loading regulations.
• Complete production documents and quality reports.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Perform any other duties related to MMU operations as required.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written French.
• Valid Class 3 driver’s licence (higher classes are a plus).
• 1–3 years of driving experience, preferably with heavy‑vehicle operation.
• Ability to obtain or hold a Dangerous Goods (TMD) certificate.
• Ability to obtain or hold a general explosives permit.
• Mechanical aptitude (preferred).
• Capacity to repeatedly lift up to 25 kg and work outdoors.
