Nurse Practitioner (Primary Health Care) – Casual Contract

About the role

The Nurse Practitioner will deliver primary health care services for Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services Inc. in the Northern Clinic service area, working within an interdisciplinary team to provide client‑centered, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary health care services for the Northern Clinic service area.
• Provide client‑centered, comprehensive care to individuals and families within an interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure care is accessible, holistic, and culturally appropriate for Indigenous communities.

Required profile

• Master’s in Nursing and valid Nurse Practitioner certification, preferably with a Primary Health Care focus.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN(EC).
• Three to five years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience working within Indigenous communities and with electronic medical records.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
