About the role
The Nurse II provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients within Prairie Mountain Health facilities. This position aligns with the organization’s vision, mission, and values, ensuring care is delivered according to established standards, policies, and professional codes.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba standards and the Regulated Health Professions Act.
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Adhere to the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics and professional practice standards.
- Participate in ongoing competency development and continuing education.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required profile
- Active or eligible licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Demonstrated ability to make effective clinical decisions and solve problems independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive working relationships with co‑workers and clients.
- Clean employment record.
Required skills
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with electronic software programs used in healthcare.
