Nurse Aide – Home Care Support

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide to provide in‑home support to patients in the Kelowna area. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and supervise exercise routines.
• Assist with cleaning, sterilising, and setting up medical equipment.
• Take and record blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Serve meals, feed patients, and help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Weigh, lift, turn, and reposition patients; transport them between facilities using wheelchair or stretcher.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and keep patient rooms tidy.
• Provide first‑aid response in emergency situations.

Required profile

• College or CEGEP certificate or diploma (3 months to < 1 year) or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of home‑care or similar experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail.
• Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, lift and move patients.

Required skills

• First Aid certification.
