Night Shift Registered Nurse – Virtual Care

About the role

Dialogue is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its virtual care platform on night shifts. You will work remotely, providing assessment, advice, and referrals to patients across Canada, ensuring a seamless experience throughout their care journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients via telephone or video calls, identify key symptoms and health concerns.
• Refer patients to appropriate health services (clinic, emergency, or virtual appointments) based on clinical judgment.
• Provide home‑based symptom management advice and prescribe group prescriptions within virtual scope of practice.
• Document consultations accurately and follow up with patients as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary virtual team to maintain continuity of care.

Required profile

• Active and valid nursing licence to practice in Quebec (or other Canadian provinces).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in community, primary, emergency, or critical care settings.
• Availability to work at least 21 hours per week on evenings and nights, including weekends, with shift lengths of 8‑10 hours between 5 pm and 7 am.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.

Required skills

• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Knowledge of vaccination (PIQ), contraception, and STI screening/treatment is an asset.
