Night Auditor – Luxury Boutique Hotel

About the role

The Night Auditor ensures seamless overnight operation of the Loden Hotel, balancing operational excellence with exceptional guest service. Reporting directly to the Director of Guest Operations, this role combines leadership, financial oversight, and guest engagement to uphold luxury boutique standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support training of new team members during evening and weekend shifts.
• Provide warm, memorable guest experiences from arrival through departure.
• Monitor and enforce safety and security protocols across the property.
• Perform night audit duties: post charges, reconcile accounts, generate reports, and ensure revenue integrity.
• Maintain a professional front‑desk presence and collaborate with Accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Monitor overnight emails and reservations, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Support inter‑departmental communication, including group billing reconciliation and event oversight.
• Ensure guest safety by staying knowledgeable on emergency procedures.
• Contribute to business strategy development and performance management initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; post‑secondary education in business or hospitality is an asset.
• Hotel experience preferred, especially in luxury or boutique settings.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest‑service standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality and a desire to exceed guest expectations.
• Multilingual abilities considered an asset.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 23 kg.
