Network Tools Automation Consultant

About the role

Accenture’s Infrastructure Engineering team is seeking a Network Tools Automation Consultant to design, integrate, and stabilize network and security platforms for enterprise and data‑center environments. You will work with a multidisciplinary group to deliver repeatable, API‑driven solutions that improve observability, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between network/security tools and enterprise platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, and custom scripts.
• Deploy, operate, and stabilize network observability and security tooling, including monitoring, SIEM alignment, and production validation.
• Develop and maintain Cisco ACI data‑center fabric via automation of APIC controllers and Cisco Nexus Dashboard.
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and integration specifications for repeatable deployments.
• Automate operational tasks with Python, JSON, PowerShell, and API workflows for data extraction, transformation, reporting, and controlled change execution.
• Conduct technical assessments of client infrastructure and plan, test, and deploy automation across SD‑WAN, SD‑Access, SD‑DC, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and related toolchains.

Required profile

• Strong core networking background with enterprise and data‑center experience.
• Proficiency in operating network tools and designing tool‑to‑tool integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco ACI, APIC controller, and Nexus Dashboard.
• Solid scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with JSON and API workflows.
• Ability to produce clear documentation and support knowledge transfer.
