Network Security Analyst – Palo Alto & Azure AD (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Analyst to design, implement, and optimise Palo Alto Networks security solutions for a hybrid environment in Toronto. The role focuses on integrating identity platforms with network security, supporting Zero Trust initiatives, and ensuring robust access controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and fine‑tune Palo Alto Networks security platforms and policies.
• Integrate Palo Alto solutions with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity‑based access control.
• Support and enhance Zero Trust and least‑privilege security strategies.
• Conduct security assessments, architecture reviews and control evaluations.
• Recommend remediation actions based on risk findings.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and operational support for security tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, business analysts and stakeholders.
• Maintain security architecture documentation, standards, policies and procedures.
• Assist with cloud and hybrid security architecture design.
• Support governance and compliance through best‑practice architecture.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of experience in information, cyber or network security.
• 5‑7+ years of hands‑on experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies.
• Proven experience implementing Palo Alto SASE, Prisma Access and Zero Trust solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity‑based security policies.
• Deep understanding of network security architecture, firewalls, authentication and access management.
