Montreal Office Director – Fixed-term (Parental Leave Cover)

About the role

The IFRS Foundation is seeking a Montreal Office Director on a fixed‑term basis to cover parental leave. The role leads the stewardship and delivery of the Transition Fund activities in Canada and ensures effective engagement with public and private sector contributors, regulators and market participants.

Key responsibilities

• Convert funding commitments into executed agreements and secure timely receipt of funds.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic contributor relationships throughout the transition period.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities with Revenue, Finance, Legal and Operations teams.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the IFRS Foundation’s Montreal office.
• Support the Foundation’s central functions in advancing organisational priorities and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior leadership or director‑level roles within finance, fund management or stakeholder‑engagement contexts.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, sustainability standards and the international accounting ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi‑stakeholder relationships and large‑scale funding programmes.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is an asset.
