About the role

McGill University's Mining and Materials Engineering department is hiring student graders for six mining engineering courses for the Fall 2026 semester. The positions are on‑site in Montreal and require students to be present and available throughout the course dates.

Key responsibilities

  • Work in‑person during the Fall 2026 term for the assigned course.
  • Complete grading tasks as defined by the course instructor.
  • Hours vary by position; total term hours are defined per course.

Required profile

  • Current McGill University student.
  • Must have a residential address in the province of Quebec.
  • Available to work on‑site for the duration of the term (August 31 – December 18, 2026).
  • Non‑Canadian candidates must obtain the appropriate work authorization.

    What we offer

    • Hourly salary of $19 CAD.
    • Fixed‑term appointment from August 31 to December 18, 2026.
    • Six positions covering the following courses: MIME 200, MIME 329, MIME 330, MIME 413/513, MIME 421/521, MIME 425/525.
