Medical Radiation Technologist – Modified Full Time (0.8 FTE)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Radiation Technologist to join Groves Memorial Community Hospital on a modified full‑time basis (0.8 FTE). You will deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting the WHCA mission of excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform CT and other radiographic procedures with accuracy and safety.
• Provide mammography services and train on the modality as needed.
• Mentor students on clinical placements and contribute to their professional development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with union (OPSEU) standards and hospital policies.

Required profile

• Current CMRITO designation and active CAMRT membership.
• OAMRT certification is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment.
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands and work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Successful police vulnerable sector check and pre‑employment health assessment.

Required skills

• CT imaging operation.
• Mammography (training provided if needed).
• Proficiency with radiation safety protocols.
