Manufacturing Technician (CNC & Robotics)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our production floor. The role involves operating, programming and maintaining CNC and robotic equipment in a fast‑paced, confined‑space environment. You will work on‑site, applying technical expertise to ensure high‑quality output and equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Set machine and equipment controls and enter CNC codes for speed, feed and toolpath.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical documentation.
• Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults.
• Complete and maintain test and service reports.
• Calibrate electronic equipment and scientific instruments.
• Program CNC machine tools and operate Mastercam, CAD/CAM and AutoCAD software.
• Install, wire and troubleshoot electronic control systems.
• Perform failure analysis and maintenance on robotic equipment and bearings.

Required profile

• College or CEGEP certificate/diploma (1‑2 years) in a related field.
• 5 + years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, CNC, and robotic systems.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle heavy loads and operate in confined spaces and at heights.
• Strong attention to detail, client focus and ethical work standards.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, with travel expenses covered.
