Electrical Shop Supervisor

About the role

Looking for a talented, organized, self‑motivated and enthusiastic individual able to perform electrical wiring and assembly. The role includes supervising and maintaining the electrical assembly shop.

Key responsibilities

• Implement production processes and ensure quality standards.
• Read electrical drawings and perform wiring and assembly of control panels.
• Coordinate with the production manager and electrical design team to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with the order entry team and document each job.
• Conduct point‑to‑point quality checks of finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper tool storage.
• Identify shop inventory needs and manage supplies.
• Accurately record time entry for each job and follow OH&S safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience in a light assembly environment.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Effective time and people management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Interpretation of electrical drawings.
• Electrical wiring and control‑panel assembly.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Basic project‑management tools.
