About the role
We are seeking a General Manager to lead our goods production, utilities, transportation and construction operations in Nisku, Alberta. The role involves strategic oversight, resource allocation, and coordination across multiple business units.
Key responsibilities
- Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
- Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
- Establish financial and administrative controls and approve promotional campaigns.
- Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions.
- Select middle managers and directors, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions.
Required profile
- College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate/diploma (1‑2 year program).
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supervising staff across various areas of responsibility.
- Availability for morning, evening and weekend shifts.
