About the role
We are seeking a Manager, People Experience to shape a workplace where employees feel valued and can perform at their best. Based in our Vancouver head office, you will own the day‑to‑day employee experience and help connect office and site teams across current and future locations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning and execution of employee experience programs, events and milestones.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive head‑office environment that supports high performance.
- Develop and run wellness, engagement and inclusion initiatives tailored to a construction workforce (e.g., mental‑health support, women‑in‑construction programs, cultural events).
- Identify and manage employee swag and other pride‑building items.
- Oversee office operations and facilities while leading a small People & Talent team.
- Strengthen the connection between office and site teams to ensure a consistent employee experience.
- Support the standardisation of People Experience practices as the company expands to new markets, including the United States.
Required profile
- Passion for creating a workplace where people genuinely want to be.
- Proven experience in employee experience, HR or culture‑focused roles, preferably in a construction or similar industry.
- Ability to lead a small team and execute hands‑on initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Understanding of the unique challenges of a construction workforce.
