About the role
The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, guiding them through the full employee lifecycle. This full‑time position requires a minimum of four on‑site days per week, rotating among Burnaby, Vancouver, and Surrey offices.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive HR support, answering employee and manager inquiries and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Advise managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
- Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support performance review cycles, performance improvement plans, and leave of absence administration.
- Contribute to HR program design, employee engagement initiatives, and training development.
- Maintain accurate, confidential HR records and assist with HR due diligence for M&A activities.
Required profile
- University degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of HR experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven track record handling employee relations and performance management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills.
- Professional HR certification is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using HRIS systems.
