About the role
The Chief People and Culture Officer (CPO) is a senior executive who will shape and lead Raising The Village’s global people strategy across all regions. Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, the CPO will drive organizational effectiveness, leadership capability and a high‑performing, values‑driven culture aligned with RTV’s mission to end ultra‑poverty.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi‑year global people strategy aligned with RTV’s mission, values and growth priorities.
- Partner with the CEO and ELT to shape enterprise strategy, organizational design and long‑term growth plans.
- Build and sustain an inclusive culture that strengthens engagement, accountability and impact.
- Lead enterprise‑wide workforce planning, succession strategies and leadership pipeline development.
- Oversee global HR operations, policies, compliance and people analytics to inform decision‑making.
- Guide integration and optimization of HR systems and ensure equitable compensation across geographies.
Required profile
- 20+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 7 years in global or multi‑country roles.
- Prior experience as a Chief People Officer, CHRO or equivalent senior HR executive.
- Proven track record building people strategies during rapid growth or transformation in mission‑driven, nonprofit or international settings.
- Strong background in organizational development, change leadership and executive team effectiveness.
- Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM‑SCP, CIPD or HRCI preferred.
