Manager, Demand Planning Excellence

About the role

Nestlé Canada is seeking a Manager, Demand Planning Excellence to lead and enhance demand planning across all business units. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality forecasts, driving continuous improvement, and standardising processes to support long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead demand planning performance and process excellence for all categories.
• Improve key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, customer service levels, bias and waste reduction.
• Identify and implement best‑practice standards to optimise planning processes and reduce manual effort.
• Own enterprise demand planning within S&OP and S&OE frameworks, facilitating cross‑functional alignment.
• Develop and deliver KPI reporting, analyse performance gaps and provide actionable insights.
• Support evaluation and implementation of demand planning tools (e.g., OMP, SAS) and collaborate on digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide training, mentorship and knowledge‑sharing to the demand planning community.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning or supply chain forecasting.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
