Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team in Brampton. You will ensure that our production environment runs safely and efficiently by maintaining buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance and general repairs across the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and support equipment installations and facility improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and keep the work area safe, clean, and organised.
• Operate hand and power tools, ladders, lifts, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Collaborate with Operations, Cultivation, Production, and Facilities teams to support daily site operations.
• Provide overtime and emergency maintenance support when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical qualifications are an asset.
• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or an industrial environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of CA$65,000 per year
• Full‑time, on‑site position in Brampton
• Regular hours: 8 am‑4 pm or 9 am‑5 pm, Monday‑Friday
