Maintenance Mechanic – Mechanical Equipment Assembly & Repair

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our industrial production team. You will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical equipment in a noisy, all‑weather environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment and install machinery and equipment.
• Coach and instruct apprentices on proper techniques.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve irregularities and malfunctions.
• Construct foundations for new machinery.
• Repair or replace defective parts and perform routine maintenance.
• Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in industrial mechanics or maintenance.
• College/CEGEP or equivalent education in mechanical engineering, mechanical technology, industrial mechanics, or welding technology.
• Ability to work onsite, handle loads up to 23 kg, and work under pressure.
• Criminal record check and own vehicle required.
