Main Studio Instructor – Multiple Disciplines

About the role

Equinox West Georgia Street is seeking energetic Main Studio Instructors to lead a variety of classes including strength, conditioning, dance, cardio, sculpt, boxing and martial arts. You will deliver the signature Equinox experience, ensuring each session is engaging, safe, and tailored to participants' fitness levels.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience in every class, following the class description and adjusting intensity as needed.
• Continuously monitor participants' exercise intensity and ensure classes start and finish on time.
• Teach assigned classes regularly while minimizing the need for substitute instructors.
• Communicate with the Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and substitution needs.

Required profile

• Current Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM) or a related degree.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and ACSM guidelines.
• Eagerness to pursue ongoing professional development.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality.

Required skills

• Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM)
• CPR/AED certification
