About the role
The Associate Clinical Director will join the Practice Ready Assessment (PRA‑BC) team, supporting the assessment of internationally educated family physicians seeking licensure in British Columbia. This part‑time contractor position reports to the Clinical Director and collaborates with program operations leaders and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Screen applicants to confirm suitability for entry into the PRA‑BC program.
- Coordinate quality assurance for Clinical Field Assessments (CFAs), ensuring appropriate facilities and supports are in place.
- Verify that CFA assessment reports meet program requirements.
- Develop and update policies, procedures, assessor training, and evaluation tools related to CFAs.
- Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the program’s mandate.
- Provide recommendations to the Steering Committee composed of key program partners.
Required profile
- Medical degree.
- Family physician qualification.
