About the role
Everison International Group Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end execution of import and export shipments. You will ensure efficient movement of goods, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate closely with suppliers, freight partners, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight across North America and international markets.
- Manage shipping processes, including documentation, customs compliance, and resolution of transit delays.
- Prepare and track shipping documents, purchase orders, and logistics paperwork.
- Schedule shipments with freight forwarders and carriers, and establish loading dates.
- Collect freight quotes, compare options, and select cost‑effective carriers.
- Negotiate rates with freight forwarders and couriers.
- Track shipments and provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier orders from loading through delivery to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Support purchasing activities, including PO tracking and vendor coordination.
- Coordinate with customs agents for smooth clearance of international shipments.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for high‑volume interactions with suppliers and carriers.
- Detail‑oriented and able to track documentation and shipments accurately.
- Problem‑solver who can adapt to unexpected issues in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with customs documentation or import/export processes is an asset.
