Locum Physician – 100% Billing Paid First 2 Weeks

About the role

Welcome Medical Clinic in Burnaby is seeking family physicians and walk‑in clinic doctors for flexible locum coverage. The position can be full‑time or part‑time, with the option to work on‑site, remotely, or a hybrid of both.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine and walk‑in clinic services to a diverse patient base.
• Document patient encounters, write notes, and complete forms using the Oscar EMR system.
• Manage billing for private fees, doctor’s notes, and uninsured visits.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes sports medicine, pediatrics, psychology, pharmacy, and allied health services.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.

Required profile

• Medical degree and valid license to practice in British Columbia.
• Experience in family practice or walk‑in clinic settings.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible schedules.
• Willingness to engage with both in‑clinic and remote patient consultations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oscar EMR software.
