Locum Family Practitioner / General Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join our new outpatient clinic affiliated with Langley Memorial Hospital. This flexible, short‑term position offers the chance to deliver high‑quality patient care in a supportive environment with no weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of health conditions.
• Conduct routine check‑ups, preventative care, and health education.
• Document patient encounters using the Profile EMR system.
• Provide coverage for specified periods (e.g., March 16‑27, May 13‑14, June 26‑July 10) or any agreed timeframe.

Required profile

• Licensed physician with experience in family or general practice.
• Committed to compassionate, patient‑centered care.
• Willing to work flexible hours within clinic hours of 8:00 am‑4:30 pm.
• Open to long‑term involvement as the clinic expands.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Profile electronic medical record (EMR) system.
