Locum Family Physician – Central Okanagan, BC

About the role

Join a network of family practice clinics in the Central Okanagan Valley (Kelowna, West Kelowna, Peachland, Lake Country) as a locum physician. You will provide primary care to diverse patient populations on short‑term, long‑term, part‑time, full‑time, casual or permanent assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive family medicine services to patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with Primary Care Network nurses and allied health professionals.
• Utilise clinic EMR systems (Med Access, CHR, Oscar, Profile) for documentation and billing.
• Participate in “Doctor of the Day” shifts where available.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality of care.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Family Practitioner or General Practitioner licensed to practice in British Columbia.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules and contract lengths.
• Comfort with fee‑for‑service or Longitudinal Family Practice payment models.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Med Access EMR.
• Proficiency with CHR EMR.
• Proficiency with Oscar EMR.
• Proficiency with Profile EMR.
