About the role

This full‑time locum position allows you to choose convenient emergency shifts through an online scheduling system at Chilliwack General Hospital, a 131‑bed community hospital affiliated with the University of British Columbia.

Key responsibilities

Provide high‑quality emergency medical care to patients during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced 24/7 emergency department.
Utilise the hospital’s resources, including the regional eye‑care centre and other specialty services.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to provincial medical standards.

Required profile

Current CCFP (EM) resident or physician who has completed training.
Eligibility to practice after the CCFP(EM) examination.
CPSBC US‑certified class of registration accepted.
Commitment to flexible, shift‑based work.
