Locum Emergency Physician – Chilliwack General Hospital

About the role
This full‑time locum position allows you to choose convenient emergency shifts through an online scheduling system at Chilliwack General Hospital, a 131‑bed community hospital affiliated with the University of British Columbia.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality emergency medical care to patients during assigned shifts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced 24/7 emergency department.
- Utilise the hospital’s resources, including the regional eye‑care centre and other specialty services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to provincial medical standards.
Required profile
- Current CCFP (EM) resident or physician who has completed training.
- Eligibility to practice after the CCFP(EM) examination.
- CPSBC US‑certified class of registration accepted.
- Commitment to flexible, shift‑based work.
