Community Services Manager

About the role

The Community Services Manager provides operational leadership, people management, and program coordination for a broad portfolio of community services supporting health, wellness, family, and social support for Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation members.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, monitor and continuously improve assigned community service programs in line with departmental priorities, budgets and funding requirements.
• Translate strategic and community priorities into practical work plans, schedules, service standards, deliverables and measurable outcomes.

Required profile

• Collaborative leader with experience in community, social, health or family services.
• Passionate about improving outcomes for individuals and families and comfortable balancing strategy, operations and people leadership.

Required skills

• Leadership and people management abilities.
• Understanding of culturally safe, trauma‑informed, strengths‑based service delivery.
