Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of acute medical and trauma cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, obstetrics, psychiatry, and eye‑care services.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and ensure seamless shift coverage.

Required profile

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Emergency Medicine (FRCPC or CCFP‑EM).
• Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications.
• Eligibility to practice medicine in Canada.
• Willingness to start in July 2020 or later, including after residency completion.
