Live-in Nanny for Family in Simcoe, ON

About the role

We are seeking a caring and reliable live-in nanny to join the Thomas family in Simcoe, ON. The role involves full-time childcare for infants and children of various ages, as well as light household duties while the parents are away.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, assist with toilet training, bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
• Plan and supervise games, outings and educational activities.
• Maintain a safe, healthy home environment and keep daily activity and health records.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage rest periods.
• Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry, especially in parents’ absence.
• Travel with the family on trips, providing child supervision and assistance with housekeeping.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of nanny or childcare experience.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, lift up to 23 kg, and work under pressure.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Clear criminal, vulnerable sector and reference checks.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
