Regional Stream Leader

About the role

Connecting Streams equips and mobilizes the Church to help society's vulnerable populations know Jesus and experience His power to change the world. As Regional Stream Leader, you report to the National Stream Leader and provide spiritual leadership while building relationships with churches in your region so they can engage vulnerable people and connect them with Connecting Streams ministries. The role covers the development, launch and long-term sustainability of ministry initiatives, with about 20 hours per week depending on the size and needs of the region.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local churches and strengthen church engagement across the region.
• Equip churches with practical tools, training and support for community impact.
• Provide spiritual leadership, modelling Christ-centered leadership and ensuring ministry aligns with the organization's mission, values and biblical principles.
• Foster effective communication of ministry opportunities, events, resources and updates.
• Support and develop ministry leaders through encouragement, guidance and ongoing support.
• Identify opportunities to expand regional ministry impact through strategic partnerships and increased church engagement.
• Take part in Chapel services, prayer and Bible study times, the semi-annual Worldwide Day of Prayer and All Staff Forums, plus special projects assigned by the National Stream Lead.

Required profile

• Deep, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and spiritual maturity.
• Experience in church leadership, parachurch ministry or community outreach.
• Demonstrated experience building partnerships with churches or ministry leaders.
• Experience discipling, mentoring or equipping volunteers and leaders.
• Organized, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred experience

• Networking, regional ministry development or team leadership.
• Familiarity with ministry to vulnerable populations (prison, addictions, inner city, intercultural contexts).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or Dayforce HCM.
