About the role

Our client, a well‑regarded full‑service law firm located in downtown Calgary, is expanding its Litigation Group. The firm seeks a Litigation Lawyer with four to six years of experience to handle a steady flow of high‑quality commercial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and conduct litigation matters from inception through trial and resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Engage with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
• Collaborate with senior partners and other team members on complex cases.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial, construction, or insolvency and restructuring matters.
• Strong work ethic, sound judgment, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Experience with commercial litigation processes.
• Familiarity with construction law principles.
