Light Duty Cleaner – Full‑time (Term/Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Light Duty Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across several locations in Medicine Hat. This full‑time, term or contract position requires you to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while meeting tight deadlines and high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish all types of flooring and dust furniture, upholstery and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, ensuring no debris remains.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures, appliances and high‑touch surfaces.
• Disinfect operating rooms, elevators, and other high‑traffic areas according to safety protocols.
• Pick up debris, empty trash containers, handle lost‑and‑found items and restock cleaning supplies.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including polishing surfaces and reporting any maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle repetitive tasks.
• Physical capability to bend, crouch, kneel, lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, reliability and client‑focused attitude.
